The Gahanna American Legion Post 797 4th Annual "Walk In Our Boots" Walk/Run fund raising event supports once homeless local veterans so they become re-acclimated to a more normal\, self-sustaining life with the help of our community. Knowing many of these veterans gave so much during their previous military life\, our American Legion mission is to support them every step of the way as they regain personal sustainability\, re-establish a home and household\, and re-enter the workforce overcoming obstacles many of these men and women faced before\, during and after living on the streets in Central Ohio. Gahanna's American Legion Post 797 is a 501(c)(19) and all donations are tax deductible.
